Saturday was a Great Day to be Statesmen

Following some disappointing results on Friday, the Statesmen bounced back in a big way on Saturday.  Four NHCA squads traveled to Dominion Academy of Dayton and all came home with victories!

The MS Volleyball team started off the day with a two-set victory: 25-6 and 26-24.  The JV Volleyball squad matched it with a two-set win of their own: 25-4 and 25-8.  The Varsity Lady Statesmen followed with a three-set triumph: 25-7, 25-2, 25-8.  The Varsity Soccer team completed the sweep of the Sabers with a thrilling 2-1 victory.

The MS Soccer team had the day off, but they still brought home a “win” for NHCA.  The team served as “ball kids” at the Ohio State Men’s Soccer match on Saturday evening.  One of the parents relayed this comment from one of the college students, “Coach, you have a great group of kids, these are probably the best group of ball boys (and I will put in girls too) that we have had all year.” Thank you to all of our teams for showing others what it means to be STATESMEN!

Volleyball Friday Night at NHCA

What a great Friday night of volleyball action at The Statehouse!  The 5th & 6th grade squad started the evening off losing to a much older PROBE Academy team.  The MS Lady Statesmen then provided a two-set victory over Shekinah.  The fireworks came during the Varsity match.  NHCA lost the first two sets then battled back to knot it at 2-2.  NHCA fell to Shekinah in the fifth set to close out an exciting evening! The NHCA Varsity Soccer team was on the road and fell to a state-ranked Wellington School 9-1.
